At the end of December, Juniper announced updates to its SRX security line. This is what the line looks like now:
Changes have occurred in the entire younger line, so in May 2016 the SRX100, SRX210, SRX240, SRX650 will be discontinued. SRX300 should replace SRX100, SRX320 will replace SRX110 / SRX210 / SRX220, SRX340 will replace SRX240. The SRX345 is designed to fill the niche that was between the SRX240 and SRX550.

Juniper SRX320 is also an excellent solution for small offices and offices, in addition to 8xGE ports it has two slots for installing mini Pim cards. There is an option with PoE support (802.3af, 802.3at) with a budget of 90W.
Juniper SRX300 differs from Juniper SRX320 in that there are 2 expansion slots in the sarše, an option with PoE. The youngest has better power consumption and no acoustic noise.
Juniper SRX340 is the ideal solution for mid-sized offices and offices, with a total number of employees not exceeding 100 people. On board there are 16 ports - 8x10 / 100 / 1000Base-T and 8 SFP ports, 4 slots for installing mini Pim cards. Compared to the SRX 240, the performance of the SRX340 is almost 2 times higher.
Juniper SRX345 is characterized by doubled productivity SRX340 and is intended for average offices and offices, with a total number of employees not exceeding 200 people. Both models have a slot for an SSD drive.
The SRX550 was updated, firewall performance increased from 5.5Gbps to 8Gbps on large packets and the number of competitive sessions, a slot for installing SSD appeared. So he replaced the old SRX550 and SRX650.
The SRX1400 was replaced by the SRX1500, which is a 1RU device on board which has 20 ports - 12x10 / 100 / 1000Base-T, 4 SFP ports and 4 SFP + ports. Additionally, there are two slots for installing PIM cards.
The SRX1500 is the ideal solution for large branch offices and regional offices, with a total number of employees not exceeding 1000 people.
