What GIS to use after the actual death of Google Maps?

Today, our organization’s maps have been disconnected from the old Google maps.
Given how the new version of Google Maps works, in fact, it has become impossible to use it.

I suspect that our needs are not unique - which means that finding an alternative may be useful for other people.

The main function for which we use maps is the calculation of distances from predetermined points (marks on the map) in bulk (several tens per working day).

What has changed in the new map:

    1. Routes are organized as layers and are automatically saved on the map. The free version is limited to 5 layers, the paid version is 10. To remove a route layer that instantly becomes obsolete after calculation, you need 4 clicks. Previously, routes from points on the map could be counted in unlimited quantities,
    2. Mashrut is calculated longer and the function is unstable - despite the editing rights, non-cardholders often get the message "you cannot add layers on this map",
    3. Even when a route is built, information about its length is available only by clicking "step by step" - there is no information in the basic interface
    4. If you need to route a route through a certain point, then you won’t be able to delete it — just move it to another place, or you need to re-calculate the route.

After it became clear that it became impossible to build routes in droves, and switching to the paid version would not help, the question arose about alternatives.

The only known alternative web service that allows you to customize your cards is Yandex.maps.
In addition to insignificant minuses (such as the much weaker possibilities for formatting labels, because of which the map loses in clarity), the main minus is the inability to combine viewing your map and the constructed route when viewing.
For Yandex, these are unrelated things, a route is a route, my map is my map, and you can see either one or the other.

Total : fairly straightforward requirements for using cards are now unavailable even for money.

Are anyone aware of alternative services that would make it possible to calculate the distance from their tags without restrictions, even if for money?
