
Payoneer HR Acquisition
We wanted to share the latest Payoneer news regarding HR acquisitions. Patrick de Courcy, former Deputy Executive Director of SWIFT, joined Payoneer as head of the Asia-Pacific region. Hans Morris, Managing Partner of NYCA Partners, former Visa President and Citi CEO, joined the Payoneer Board of Directors. His company also made a small investment in Payoneer.

Patrick de Courcy has worked at SWIFT for more than 20 years, holding various positions, including financial, in the field of product management, marketing and sales, and was responsible for the development of the Asia-Pacific region. Mr. de Courcy has extensive experience in international payments, banking and is well aware of this region.
Patrick de Courcy will work from an office in Hong Kong, establishing partnerships with leading companies in this field, developing and implementing new strategies. The Asia-Pacific region is one of the key markets for Payoneer, recently the company received strategic investments from Ping An Group , a leading financial services provider and the largest non-state enterprise in China. In January 2014, Payoneer began with a partnership with the Japanese company Quantium Solutions Inc. , (a subsidiary of Singapore Post), in order to provide Japanese retailers with a complete package of services, not only for receiving payments, but also for logistics.
Hans Morris has over 30 years of financial experience. He served as president at Visa at the time the company went public, which at that time was the largest in US history. Prior to joining Visa, Mr. Morris spent over 20 years in senior positions at Citigroup. He recently created the NYCA Partners venture finance and consulting company . Morris’s investment partners in NYCA are Max Levchin, co-founder of PayPal, and Osama Bedier, former head of Google Payments.
