The digest of interesting materials for the mobile # 76 developer (on October 20-26)
It would seem that after the premieres of Apple and Google, a relatively calm week awaits us, but no. Unity has changed its director, Apple launched TestFlight at full capacity, Opera released a third-quarter mobile advertising report, Nokia Lumia has become Microsoft Lumia, and finally Twitter has launched its Fabric developer platform. And this is only a small part of the new news digest from the world of mobile development.

When choosing a platform, I settled on mobile and, in particular, on Android. I had nothing apple. By that time, the Android license cost $ 400. But while I was hastily taking a video course on the basics of OOP programming and Java (I had little experience in php), the guys from Unity decided to give developers the opportunity to make games for Android and iOS for free, for which many thanks to them.
Following the public release of iOS 8.1 on Monday, October 20, Apple introduced a number of other innovations, among which are those directly related to developers of mobile applications for iOS.
Developer Economics is the world's largest study on global trends in application economics and mobile development. It is based on a survey of developers and companies conducted by the British company VisionMobile once every six months. In the past, for example, more than 10,000 people from all over the world participated.
