Facebook is preparing money transfers inside the "Messenger"

A student at Stanford University found inside his iOS application Messenger (a separate application for posting on Facebook) a fully functional function of money transfers from the user's bank cards tied to the account.

Judging by the video recorded for TechCrunch , the Function is completely ready for work - Facebook can only turn it on. Transactions are protected by a PIN code created in the application itself. The user can use a map already linked to Facebook or attach a new one.

The answer to the most important question is not yet known: will the transfer be taxed by a commission. If you recall the recent news about testing the Facebook button "Buy", we can assume that the transfer function is needed not so much for earning as for stimulating as many users as possible to link their cards to social networks. In this case, the transfers are likely to be interest-free.
