Quadcopters starred in the film Cirque Du Soleil and the Physicotechnical Institute of Zurich
Hello, Habr!
Until quadrocopters become “horsemen of the Apocalypse” and begin to exterminate people, they can entertain us, including dancing.
Cirque Du Soleil and the Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich jointly made a project, the result of which was a short film about a lonely master of household appliances. After a short circuit, the lamps come to life, performing a fancy dance in interaction with a person. There are no special effects in the film - only quadrocopters in lampshades.
Under the habracrat - a short film “Sparked” , “film about the film” and several photographs of the process itself.

Before this film, experts from Zurich had already managed to attach their heads to flying gadgets, force them to assemble walls of bricks and throw threads through one another. As a result, after adding light elements to quadrocopters, the idea of creating this film accidentally came up.
11 actors starred in the film: 1 living person and 10 quadrocopters.
