
iPhone 6 Plus: full parsing from iFixit (7 out of 10 on the repair rate scale)

Just a few days ago, the new iPhone was introduced by Apple, and the iFixit team has already disassembled the older model, the iPhone 6 Plus, in the cogs, literally.
Looking ahead, it is worth saying that the iPhone 6 Plus on the maintainability scale got 7, which is significant progress compared to the iPhone 5S. Well, in the sequel - more than a dozen photographs and a description of each stage of disassembly.
Step 1 . IPhone 6 Plus Features
- Processor: 64-bit A8 processor;
- RAM: 1 GB
- Memory: 16.64 and 128 GB;
- Display: 5.5 inches, 1920x1080 pixels (401 ppi) Retina HD;
- Camera: iSight at 8MP;
- Sensors and sensors: fingerprints, barometer, gyroscope, accelerometer, light sensor;
- Size: 158.1 mm long, 77.8 mm wide and 7.1 mm device thickness.

The camera protrudes slightly from the body.
There are plastic inserts on the case itself so that the device’s antenna can receive the signal.

Step 6. Separation of the metal plate

Apple has changed the way you connect the Home button to the motherboard. This, according to the team of dealers, increases the level of maintainability of the device.
Step 7 . Removing the battery






The older model has a larger battery than the iPhone 6: 11.1 Wh, 2915 mAh. As a result, the battery life of the iPhone PLus is longer than that of the iPhone 6.

According to the iFixit team, the new Apple smartphone is quite easy to repair, plus it is better protected from external influences. Ideally, the display is separated first, because display problems are the most common.
