Security Fixes iOS 8

    Apple has released a significant update for its mobile iOS, called iOS 8. The update applies to devices iPhone 4s +, iPod 5 touch +, iPad 2+. In total, the company fixed 58 vulnerabilities in iOS. Many of the fixed vulnerabilities could be used by attackers to execute arbitrary code on systems, as well as to increase their privileges there. The mechanism for randomizing the MAC address when searching for Wi-Fi networks, which was mentioned several months before the appearance of iOS 8, was also improved. Using a static MAC address makes it possible to passively track the device when it searches for Wi-Fi networks, this vulnerability is of the type information -disclosure .
