With family and friends you can share a chocolate bar, hobbies, joy or grief, a computer ... Although you need to be careful with a computer - you don’t want anyone to read your correspondence or look through the search history. Therefore, we updated Chrome profiles in the new beta so that you can more easily and conveniently protect your data from prying eyes.

To create a profile, open the "You" menu in the upper right corner of the browser and select "Sign in to Chrome." Once you’ve logged in to your account, you can return to viewing the pages that are open in Chrome on other devices, use your bookmarks, view your search history, etc. All data is synchronized with our servers, so they will always be at your fingertips - on any device .

Using the same computer with your mom or neighbor? Create additional profiles by clicking the "Change user" button. Now you don’t have to argue which theme to install in your browser - fall or classic. Everyone can customize Chrome to their liking, install the necessary extensions, use their own bookmarks - and all this in one browser!

And with the help of the guest mode, friends will be able to check mail or find something on the Internet without seeing your bookmarks and open pages. In addition, after exiting this mode, all guest data will be deleted from your computer. To enter guest mode, click “You (or your name)> Change user> Enter guest mode”.

So, for each user - by profile! Download the new Chrome Beta and enjoy your personal online space.
