Second JUG.EKB Community Meeting Held
On July 29, representatives of the Java community gathered for the second time, in order to communicate in an informal setting and exchange experiences. The venue for the event was a cozy coworking “Salt”, with real slippers, ottomans and treats. The partner of the event was Naumen.
We remind you that JUG is a Java User Group, JUG.EKB meetings are a discussion of various technologies from the Java world, an exchange of experience, and also just interesting communication!
Two reports were presented to the attention of the audience:
Andrey Khitrin, Naumen company, with the report “Shackles of Failure Will Fall: How to Transfer the Assembly of the Project from Ant to Gradle?”
Roman Elizarov, a specially invited guest from St. Petersburg, the company Devexperts, with the report "Millions of quotes per second in pure Java."
The reports caused a wave of questions, so that their discussion continued even at the afterparty. A series of short reports was also successfully completed - lightning talks.
You can read more about the reports on the jugekb.ru website , and the photo from the event in the VKontakte group vk.com/jugekb?z=album-61807294_199836894
If someone didn’t succeed in coming, we will post video on the site or in the VK group.
Looking forward to seeing you at the next JUG.EKB meeting!
