We are pleased to announce the launch of the new Infobox location for VPS in Amsterdam. Now Infobox gives customers the opportunity to choose the location for VPS in Russia or Europe. We strive to be closer to users, allowing us to create fast and reliable sites and services around the world.
In total, Infobox now has 4 locations: St. Petersburg, Krasnoyarsk , Moscow and Amsterdam.
EvoSwitch data center is one of the largest and most reliable data centers in Europe. Using the most advanced technologies and premium infrastructure allows customers to guarantee maximum uptime at 99.999% according to the SLA.
Compliance with the standards of infrastructure, operation and security of the data center is confirmed by numerous international certificates:
Geographically, the data center is located 10 km from Amsterdam (Netherlands), next to the Haarlem railway station in a separate building. It covers an area of 10,000 square meters with the possibility of expanding the area to 40,000 square meters.
For service Infobox VPS uses new Dell server. Parallels Cloud Server Enterprise Solution is used as the software platform. The technology provides live migration and fast backups, making the service resistant to equipment problems. Used container virtualization allows you to achieve greater VPS performance compared to hypervisor technology. A feature of container virtualization is the inability to control the OS kernel for the user. All necessary kernel modules are installed upon request, or in case of frequent use, are installed by default. If you need to manage the OS kernel in a virtual machine, you can use cloud-based VPS .
The data center has 45 uplinks and direct access to the traffic exchange points AMS-ix, LINX NoVa and NL-ix, to which Western and Russian trunk operators are connected. This ensures our customers excellent connectivity around the world and with Russia. The favorable location and excellent communication allows you to deploy sites and applications for Europe (including Russia and other CIS countries) and the USA in the European location of Infobox. A small ping value is important for high performance sites .
You can independently test ping to VPS from Infobox, located in Amsterdam from your location.
To do this, run the command "ping ams.sandbox.infobox.ru " in the console . You can ping other Infobox locations for VPS: spb.sandbox.infobox.ruand krs.sandbox.infobox.ru and choose the best one to host your site or application. Below are the results of ping testing from different countries:
