You probably could not have imagined that “wearable computers” used to be used for casino fraud. Back in the 1960s and 70s, the first wearable devices were invented for reading cards and increasing the chances of a player at the playing table.
Later wearable technologies underwent minor changes in terms of consumer devices, with the exception of the popular wristwatch in the 80s. The technology may have been wonderful, but not practical and inconvenient for the user.
Today, wearable technology, from tracking fitness bracelets to Google Glass smart glasses, is perhaps the most prosperous and productive area in the high-tech industry.
