One of the most actively developing IT communities in Kiev invites everyone to the third meeting of Android developers, which will be held May 17 at the office of Ciklum.
This time they will light and introduce the Android world:

As part of the report, we will try to summarize the experience gained with using loaders, understand why they appeared, what tasks they solve, when and how they should be used. At the same time, we compare them a little with other methods of organizing asynchronous data loading. Let's try to figure out the not-so-simple life cycle of these creatures and tame one on a small practical task.
2. Roman Mazur - will be introduced to the tools that are used in Stanfyon the example of the task of downloading tweets. There will be few Loaders, code generation and RxJava. (level> middle)
3. Anton Minashkin - “Retrofit” (level> junior-middle) - Brief: How and why to use the Retrofit library, its pros and cons.
