The new iPhone 5S from Apple pleased users with an unexpected feature: BSOD, or the "blue screen of death." BSOD is a typical error message for older versions of Windows, but many iPhone 5S users report unexpected reboots of their devices after BSOD. The blue screen appears primarily due to native Apple iWork applications. The video shows that reboots are caused by switching between applications, but users also report reboots during operation.

Apple released iOS 7.0.2 primarily in order to fix bugs with the security of the lock screen, but the update does not affect the issue of rebooting the device. Several support topics have been created on the tech support forums to draw attention to the problem. In addition, some Twitter users have also expressed disappointment on their blogs.

One way to fix reboots is to disable syncing with iCloud in Apple's Pages, Keynote, and Numbers.
