Google and NASA teamed up to create a quantum computer
- Transfer
In May, in collaboration with NASA, we announced the Quantum AI Lab, a place where researchers from around the world can experiment with the incredible power and capabilities of quantum computing.
We are still at a very early stage, but we think that quantum computing will help solve the most complex scientific and computational problems. In particular, we are interested in how a quantum computer can improve machine learning , which can subsequently be applied to many areas: from the search for drugs to understanding climate change.
As soon as the team began joint work this summer, we decided to shoot a video in which we would briefly talk about the "behind the scenes" life of the project. In it, we presented some strange, “brain-carrying” and certainly amazing concepts.
If you are interested in the project, you can subscribe to the community page on Google+ to keep abreast of all the latest research (plus of course discussions and various videos).
