Microduino - what if everything is taken and divided?
Arduino is a very popular, universal and fairly budget platform, but sometimes its functionality is somewhat redundant, or vice versa, something is sorely lacking. And here Microduino comes to the rescue - it is an Arduino-compatible platform, consisting of a core and many additional modules, characterized by compactness and low price.
The main idea of Mikroduino is to divide the Arduino-Uno circuit into two functional parts: Microduino-Core (minimum system board) and Microduino-FT232R (connector for connecting the board to a computer for downloading and debugging software)
Microduino turns out to be very flexible, smart, cheap and Arduino compatible: Microduino-Core + Microduino-FT232R = Arduino Uno.
The dimensions of the microdino are only 25.40mm X 27.94mm.
All boards have a single 27-pin U-shape, and can be stacked on top of each other, while different modules do not conflict with each other.
All circuit boards and design are in the public domain.
Since Microduino-FT232R is needed only for downloading and debugging software, it can be used many times. The core itself and additional modules are cheap
WOT network gate is a hub for distributed sensors that collect various information about the environment, such as temperature, humidity, pressure, etc. This information is transmitted to the hub, where it is processed and laid out on the network.
To make this network wireless, just connect the Microduino-nRF24, and by adding the Microduino-SD module you can save data offline.
Microduino-LM4863 is a popular and high-quality D-class digital amplifier.
5 modules are required for the GPS logger: Microduino-Core + + Microduino- [BT] + Microduino-SD + Microduino-OLED + Microduino-GPS.
Other designs and applications can be found on the network:

A network clock device with Microduino (details)
There are three kernel modules:
Microduino-Core is based on the ATmega328P chip and is fully compatible with Arduino Uno. When downloading and updating software using the Arduino-IDE, you can simply select “Arduino Uno” as the board type.
Microduino-Core + is a more powerful version of Microduino based on the ATmega644PA chip, the performance of which is the same as the Arduino Mega2560. Microduino-Core + supports 2 serial ports and more than 10 digital inputs / outputs.
To use the Microduino-Core + in the Arduino IDE, patch it according to the instructions.
Microduino-FT232R is a USB2TTL module for connecting to a PC and downloading / updating Core / Core + software.
Microduino already supports many modules: network coverage, wireless, BLE, SD storage, GPS, Wi-Fi, engine, OLED display, power management and other modules that are being tested.
Microduino-ENC - ethernet port.
Microduino-nRF24 wireless connection at 2.4GHz.
Microduino-SD - Micro SD card slot using the SPI protocol.
Microduino- [BT] - Bluetooth module. There are two versions: BT2.1 and BT4, but BT4 is the default choice.
Microduino-10DOF is a sensor module that integrates 3 chips using the I2C protocol: MPU6050 + HMC5883L + BMP085.
Microduino-BM is a Li-ion battery power management module that includes charging, discharging, voltage detection and LED indicators. The module supports 3.7-> 5.V and 3.7V-> 3.3V.
Microduino-OLED is a 0.96 '' 12864-color display module using the SSD1306 driver with I2C protocol and powered by 3.3V.
Mass testing of boards (-LM4863, -CC3000, -RTC, -NEO6M, -A3906, -A4982) is scheduled for completion in September 2013.
Microduino-solo is a test pin board that is brought to the periphery, which facilitates the development, configuration and debugging of the connection diagram. 5.0V -> 3.3V DC-DC regulator provides switching between two voltage levels with a jumper.
Sometimes increasing the number of models becomes problematic due to problems with dimensions. To solve this problem, a substrate board was created for horizontal and vertical connection of modules.
Microduino-Uno is an adapter board, by inserting the core and Microduino modules into it, you can get an Arduino.
Well and the most important thing is the prices for components.
The project has already gained the necessary amount on Kickstarter . A detailed description of the composition of each set on Kickstarter is contained in this PDF file .
