Ideas for projects on open data and the next hackathons and competitions that you can still catch
You probably know what’s going on now, it’s coming to an end and many open data competitions are beginning, and many hold hackathons.
For example, Yandex Hackathon will be held tomorrow or the day after tomorrow and it’s not too late to register, our friends in St. Petersburg will hold their Hackathon on October 5-6 .
Hackathons are a great format to get to know the topic, try yourself and do something simple and interesting. At the hackathon, however, it is rarely possible to make a complex product and even find the possibility of monetization. If you are doing something big or want to do it, we will extend our Apps4Russia contest until October 1 and really look forward to your applications.
In the meantime, in order to slightly facilitate the search for ideas and, possibly, encourage me to think about my own ideas on open data, I prepared a small selection of what we collected.
This, of course, is far from all. We have collected many ideas and continue to collect them.
And a huge number of applications created at various competitions on open data all over the world. It is not possible to list them all at a reasonable time, so just stop by.
There is a lot of open data, it is impossible to list everything
As well as world data where there is information about Russia:
Interesting APIs:
Many of the applications and ideas are quite suitable for participating in Apps4Russia, and many others for participating in hackathons.
