Orange dude distributes servers for free
Hello dear harazhiteli.
As you can see from our profile, we are a hosting provider, we always brag about our branded DELL hardware. Many people remember our post where an orange dude throws a server out , even in Google the article is searched for by such a phrase.
So, I’m actually the same “guy in orange,” and I want to refute the previous information - I don’t throw out servers, staged photos, and generally all Photoshop and provocation. I put them in the pantry, and they collect dust there. People stammer and upset about them. After the previous post, we received a lot of letters asking not to throw the server into a garbage container, but to give them away for experiments or in good hands, having settled all the problems with accounting, we decided to do just that.

In essence. There are 22 servers, all of them without hard drives at the request of our system administrators (well, really, would you like your hoster to give the disk with your data to someone?). I am ready to give all these servers in good hands for good intentions absolutely free. But as always, there are several conditions:

Among the servers there will be quite rare curiosities except for a collector like me, but quite a workhorse that will host sites of NOT Rusonix clients for a long time ;)
1. SuperMicro 2x3.0 GHz, 12GB RAM, W / O HDD, SCSI.
2. SuperMicro 2x3.0 GHz, 12GB RAM, W / O HDD, SCSI.
3. SuperMicro 2x3.0 GHz, 12GB RAM, W / O HDD, SCSI.
4. SuperMicro 2x3.0 GHz, 12GB RAM, W / O HDD, SCSI.
5. SuperMicro 2x3.0 GHz, 12GB RAM, W / O HDD, SCSI.
6. SuperMicro 2x3.0 GHz, 12GB RAM, W / O HDD, SCSI.
7. SuperMicro 2x3.0 GHz, 12GB RAM, W / O HDD, SCSI.

8. SuperMicro 2x3.0 GHz, 12GB RAM, W / O HDD, SATA.
9. SuperMicro 2x3.0 GHz, 12GB RAM, W / O HDD, SATA.
10. SuperMicro 2x3.0 GHz, 12GB RAM, W / O HDD, SATA.
11. SuperMicro 2x3.0 GHz, 12GB RAM, W / O HDD, SATA.
12. SuperMicro 2x3.0 GHz, 12GB RAM, W / O HDD, SATA.
13. SuperMicro 2x3.0 GHz, 12GB RAM, W / O HDD, SATA.

14. MSI Eximer Glodiatr 1x2.0Ghz (2 sockets, 1 free), 4GB, W / O HDD, IDE hotswap

15. HP DL160 1xXeon 2GB, W / O HDD, IDE

16. Intel SR1200 2x1.4GHz (PIII, Pentium! ), 4GB, W / O HDD, SCSI

17. SuperMicro 50135-8 2x2.0GHz (Xeon 32bit), 4GB, W / O HDD, SCSI

18. SuperMicro 2x2.0GHz (Quad) W / O RAM, W / O HDD :(
19. SuperMicro 2x2.0GHz (Quad) W / O RAM, W / O HDD :(

20. Intel SR2400 2x3.0Ghz (Xeon), 6GB, SATA 2U
21. Intel SR1400 2x3.0Ghz (Xeon), 6GB, SATA

Of course, the servers come complete with a mountain of all sorts of things that go to the weight of the boxes! - sleds, mounts, documentation, loops:

We will also give out for free to all those suffering a registered memory (cannot be used in household computers) by 1-2GB:

In addition, two APC bezboyniks are given into skilled hands, one of them has a dead battery, the other has a problem with brains. In general, everything is at your own peril and risk.

Write to me at orangeman@rusonyx.ru or in the comments your applications for iron, in the course of distribution I will update the list of distributed servers.

Waiting for your letters and interesting stories!
UPD: I did not expect such an influx of proposals and interesting projects.

I am ready to give all these servers in good hands for good intentions absolutely free. But as always, there are several conditions:
- One server in one hand (if you do not argue more)
- You must describe why you need this server by writing a couple of sentences so that I can post this information in this post.
- For obvious reasons, I will not give this server to the hoster
- Shipment at own expense from our office in Moscow (near metro Belorusskaya)
- As mentioned above, a server without disks (Avito and a hammer to help you)
- A gift horse ... well, you understood that complaints about the equipment are not accepted, but I can say from myself that during the dismantling all the servers were working and wasted the room in our data center on Varshavka.
And now let's start the most delicious and interesting, photos and server descriptions!
