Today we bring you Twitter #music - a service that will change the way people search for music. Using Twitter messages we collect information about popular tracks and musicians. It will also allow Twi-active musicians to share their preferences with you.
Twitter #music tracks can currently be sent from one of three sources: iTunes, Spotify, or Rdio. In the application, you can listen to the preview of the track from iTunes. Rdio or Spotify subscribers can log in to their account and listen to the full version. We continue to search for other music directory providers.
Use the #NowPlaying tag to find music.
To learn more about a musical group, for example, Chvrches choose their avatar, you will be presented with a list of the group’s most popular songs, or go to their Twitter profile.
Or are you interested in listening to the musicians Wiz Khalifa is following, use the search icon in the upper right corner. Then listen to each artist separately or all in a row by clicking on the play button.
Did you find a song you want to share with your friends? Just click on the disk icon in the lower left corner, in the player interface you can share it using the Tweet icon (in the upper right corner).
Install the application from the AppStore or the web application (it will be available in a few hours - music.twitter.com. So far, the service is available in: USA, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. Give us some time, we will release the Android version and expand the list of countries.
