The acceptance of applications for participation in the Devcup 2013 developer championship has begun

Every year, many technology experts come to the Austrian city of Austin for the South by Southwest Interactive festival . SXSW Interactive is one of our favorite events, and we decided that this is the most suitable place to announce the start of our annual Devcup Developer Competition.
As part of Evernote Devcup, developers and designers around the world are invited to create products that can expand the functionality of Evernote, helping users save, share and quickly access all the significant moments in their lives.
Over 2,000 developers and designers representing hundreds of applications attended Devcup last year.. This year we hope to see even more, so we talk about the competition in new countries, offer more prizes and work in partnership with other companies.

EverClip takes first place in Devcup 2012. From left to right: Evernote CEO Phil Libin, EverClip project manager Francis Chong, Evernote platform evangelist Rafe Needleman and Seth Hitchings, vice president of strategic development for the Evernote platform.
goal
Evernote is used for a variety of purposes and meets the needs of 50 million users around the world - this makes the possibilities for integration with the Evernote platform almost unlimited. If your application helps the user to save, share, view or visualize important information, then a link with Evernote will be very appropriate for him. We are looking for beautiful applications that provide users with more opportunities to use Evernote at home and at work, on smartphones, tablets, computers and other devices, in Russia, the USA, China and anywhere else in the world.
Our partners
Two partners are working with us this year to help us attract new developers: Honda Silicon Valley Lab and AWS Startups .

Honda Silicon Valley Lab is a research and development division of Honda Corporation that now acts as an Evernote partner in all of our developer programs. Honda will help us with the San Francisco Hackathon and will sponsor the Devcup Innovation Award.
Amazon Web Services Startups is a leading cloud platform that offers server resources to all Devcup members and additional bonuses for the winning teams, namely ensuring the work of projects after the competition is over.
