Synology Releases Official DiskStation Manager (DSM) 4.2

DiskStation Manager 4.2 offers:
Reliable storage. The LUN Snapshot and Clone functions allow you to receive up to 256 snapshots from each LUN, without affecting system performance and taking up minimal storage space. Synology fault tolerance system (SHA) is supported by a large number of DiskStation and RackStation models, and thanks to the hot swap function, it ensures smooth operation of the system for small and medium-sized enterprises. A two-stage verification system, including a predefined password and a one-time six-digit code, increases the level of security.
Ease of management.RADIUS server enhances Wi-Fi network security and provides convenient centralized access to the system.
DNS Server allows users to host and centrally manage different domains. Disk Usage Report function demonstrates the dynamics of disk space usage, providing the administrator with all the necessary information to develop storage strategies.
