Opening hours and conclusion
According to the measurement results, during operation, the consumed current is 45 mA, respectively, a set of batteries (2700 mAh) will last for 60 hours (!!!) of operation.Modern laptops nervously smoke aside - you can type text both here and there, but after the Ultrabook has batteries on the Intel i7, Atari Portfolio will work for another 50 hours.
There are still amateur sites with software for Portfolio - the main thing is not to be alarmed by a little old-fashioned design.
Anticipating the question - I bought it at an auction for 3,500 rubles, somewhere the museum of old computers was disbanded, this was one of the last exhibits.
It can still be used for its intended purpose until now - for example, as an RS232 terminal, or for some technical programs. The interface itself does not slow down and works very quickly - accordingly, you can work as comfortably as possible with a keyboard of this size.
Update: Reader’s video:
“OS loading speed?” No, not heard. ”
