The search engine (or social network?) Socl from Microsoft is open to beta testers. Yes, there are tiles too!

Microsoft has opened a beta version of its social network for everyone. The project has been in closed beta since December 2011, and before users had to receive an invite.
Socl is a by-product of Microsoft's FuSE (Future Social Experiences) Labs, according to which Socl in its current version does not correspond to the original version, because the interface has been changed. Lili Cheng, head of FUSE, said: “The way people used Socl was very different from our plans.”
Users can log in using Facebook or Microsoft accounts. Some users said that at first the service seemed strange. After logging in with your Facebook account, and entering the “cat” request, the service produced 2 columns of results, of which the left was entitled “Picasso” and contained a bunch of Picasso pictures, and the right was filled with images of displeased cats . There was nothing about cats in Picasso’s results, so it’s not clear why they appeared in the results.
A click on the image opens the page on which the image is located - it can be a blog, website, etc. Socl is like a strange combination of Reddit, Pintrest, and Facebook, all combined in an alleged search service. It is still unknown how Microsoft can release a search engine in the open swimming.
