nanoCAD Heating 1.0 Beta - a new solution in the nanoCAD-based product line / Nanosoft Blog

Today we released a new software product, which was preceded by a year of development - nanoCAD Heating 1.0. While in beta mode. But absolutely free.


“The output of this product was preceded by a lot of work: we understood the need for a solution, but at the same time we understood the amount of research needed to create a really useful program,” says Denis Ozhigin, Director for Strategic Development, Nanosoft CJSC. - Now we have taken the first step - version 1.0 is available to all interested users. We look forward to active feedback, which is transforming into new opportunities for a unique solution for designing building heating systems according to domestic standards. ”

Therefore the purpose of this release- collect as much feedback from users as possible. At the moment, there are not many solutions for heating design, and even inexpensive ones can be counted on the fingers. With nanoCAD Heating, we want to make a difference and provide domestic designers with a good tool for everyday work that maximally covers the needs.

What is nanoCAD heating now?

In short, this is a three-dimensional drawing machine with the ability to automatically receive specifications, axonometry and design drawings. We can say that this is a small BIM within the framework of one specialization (although I understand that BIM is a more complex concept). More precisely, at the moment the program’s functionality provides:

• drawing floor plans of heating systems;
• generation of axonometric diagrams of heating systems;
• generation of equipment specifications;
• generation of a list of heating appliances;
• the formation of a three-dimensional model of the heating system.

At the moment, in nanoCAD Heating there are no calculations and there is no integration with settlement programs - this is work for the future. But nanoCAD Heating is now a good automation tool for people who draw the Hand-heating section using blocks and primitives - for example, at the stage of obtaining verified error-free specifications, which in nanoCAD Heating are automatically generated from a single model.

What have we prepared to make the program easier to work with?

How to get a license?

As with all software products of Nanosoft CJSC - if there is a registration on nanocad.ru, then in the Personal Account section in the Obtain License section you must select nanoCAD Heating. Next, select the Get button - and you will be given the serial number for installation. After installing the program at your workplace, go through the Registration Wizard and get a license file with a link to the computer.

The distribution package of the program can be downloaded both on the website nanocad.ru (http and ftp), and on rutracker.org .
