OfficeRecovery Introduces Web API for Repairing Damaged Files
We bring to the attention of the programming community a beta version of the web API for recovering damaged files: https://online.officerecovery.com/en/api/
An archive with documentation and usage examples implemented in php is available via the link. It is also possible to evaluate the capabilities of the API based on a working example.
OfficeRecovery Online service is used as a kernel for file recovery ( see post with description and video ). Interaction is based on GET / POST http requests, data exchange is based on XML format.
API Functionality:
Using the API is free for private customers. You can use the API on your website or blog.

- Obtaining status and recovery progress.
- Getting links to a demo and full recovery result, or an error message if the file could not be restored.

Limitations
- No more than 5 recovery per minute from one IP address is available.
- The size of the downloaded data should not exceed 100Mb.
- Commercial use of the service is prohibited without prior approval from OfficeRecovery.
- Terms of use of the service are subject to change without notice.
