Calls using iPod, or turn an mp3 player into a phone
Let me introduce you, dear harazhitelami, my idea!
As everyone knows, the main difference between the iPod and the iPhone is the lack of a call function in the first, which justifies the small difference in price.
I would like to propose the idea of creating a device similar in size and design to iPod Shuffle. Let's call it iCall.
In fact, iCall is a box with 3 modules:
- SIM card module;
- GSM antenna;
- bluetooth;
The sim card module is needed to receive data from the mobile operator, and bluetooth to establish the connection between the device and the iPod.
The necessary functions of dialing, making a call, sending messages will provide the application installed on the iPod.
Any headphones with a microphone (for example, new Apple headphones) are connected to the iCall, which continue to function as headphones for the iPod. Just like in a phone, in case of a call, the music is muffled and communication is carried out using the built-in microphone.
It follows from the above that iCall is a small mobile phone with an iPod acting as a screen. And with the help of a small accessory, the mp3 player turns into an excellent mobile phone.
The idea was posted on the website www.quirky.com . The desired price of the product is $ 50-70. If someone wants to vote, I will only be grateful to Link .
ps this device can be connected not only to the iPod, but also to the iPad.
