One line of HTML code can delete data or restart Samsung phones

The security conference demonstrated how to delete data from Samsung Galaxy S III in a single line of HTML code. Worst of all: this seems to work on many Samsung smartphones with TouchWiz.

This problem is specific to Samsung phones that have TouchWiz installed, and this is most of the Samsung line. Phones released without TouchWiz shell are not exposed to potential danger (for example, exploit does not work on Galaxy Nexus).

At the conference, it was demonstrated how the link received on the phone was specially processed using TouchWiz, as a result of which data was deleted from the phone. This exploit in the form of a string of HTML code can also be called through the built-in scanner of QR codes or NFC.
