Meet the free and free font "Stalin"

Type designer Ivan Gladkikh , better known as Jovanny Lemonad, yesterday (September 14, 2012) announced the release of a new font, Stalin , which he co-authored with Alexei Maslov as a logical continuation of the artistic ideas of the earlier font " Metro ".

Imagine a post-apocalyptic world of the future. Everything and everything is hiding in underground structures: people, dirty air and despair. To transmit information, humanity still uses words, numbers and letters. But they became simple, more expressive, with a steel core, angularity and lack of sentimentality. Stalin - this is the font of the post-apocalyptic era of Moscow at the end of the 21st century.

The font is available for free download under the free SIL OFL 1.1 license , and is also hosted on Google Web Fonts hosting (and this, in particular, provides the ability to select a subset of characters to speed up font download to the reader).
