    About the report

Opening meeting. Andrey Kogun introduces the speaker and recalls the upcoming conferences that will be held in St. Petersburg: TechTrain 2018 (September 1-2) and Joker 2018 (October 19-20). The first part of the meeting before the break was devoted to Apache Spark , the examples shown are written in Scala . Information about the passengers of the Titanic was used as a data set. Narrated - an expanded and improved version of the report with JPoint 2018 . The second part demonstrated the capabilities of Apache Ignite on the same dataset. Demo examples written in Java

. Given Alexey’s authorship of a large part of Apache Ignite ML , his comments, comments, and answers to questions were especially valuable. Amazingly prepared audience at the last meeting - a significant part of the audience uses Apache Ignite . Questions and answers to them were interesting to both the speaker and other listeners. Photos from the meeting will soon appear here . The video will be available on YouTube (with the announcement in VK and Google+ ). You can subscribe to the announcement of the next meeting jug.msk.ru .
