Philips THE SPECKED with braided cable: Headphones that don't get confused?
Headphones from Philips of the THE SPECKED series were chosen as the first test copy: Packaging: A nice box, born clearly of a person with a sense of humor: Tight to try to open it. Inside was a terrible-looking clump of wires tied with flexible ties: However, to unravel it is not as difficult as opening the box. Ease of quick use has been sacrificed to the beauty of the front. Inside there were three sizes of ear pads: And the headphones themselves:

Type of headphones - in-channel, half-open type. All the difference with the closed type is a tiny hole.
The capsule is dynamic, one per earpiece. Neodymium magnet, mylar (it’s lavsan, if anyone doesn’t know. Mylar sounds more impressive) a dome, a coil of copper-plated aluminum wire. Everything is standard for two years already, the solution is time-tested. A wire is the joy of an audiophile, oxygen-free copper (shh, nobody knows that ALL copper wires are oxygen-free now), a gold-plated plug, a metal plug housing. The sound is completely normal, no blockages, no distortions. Although I’m not picky, but in my opinion there’s nothing to complain about.

The length of the wire is 1.2 meters, Y-shaped (the length of both ends is the same - the hate rays to the headsets that spill over the neck), the separation place is a metal cylinder: A silicone cable ties along the ends to tighten the wires under the chin: The rubber wire itself is braided from fabric . Pleasant to the touch (yes, braided wires are my fetish). The braid allowed to reduce the protection at the outlet of the connector and connector to a minimum, I hope this solution is reliable, and will not fail in a year. But in my experience - braided wires live the longest. The headphone housing is plastic, with a completely brilliant solution - there are bulges on the left earphone, but not on the right. Everything, the letters L and R can not be looked for (they are, but they are very stylized). Now about the main thing. Confused?

A miracle did not happen, they still get confused in a pocket. But one big plus - the braid greatly reduces friction between the wires in the ball, which is why it is much more pleasant to untangle them - I shook it a couple of times, they unwound themselves into a thread. I hope that the braid will save them from the winter, which I have not yet experienced any headphones.
