Samsung at IFA 2012
Hello! I think it’s no secret to anyone that a huge international exhibition IFA 2012 is taking place in Berlin, at which many manufacturers show their achievements, new products, and long-awaited devices. This statement was not an exception for Samsung.

You have already been introduced to Note II, so let me briefly talk about other devices that were shown at the exhibition, but did not have time to get to the hub
We will begin, perhaps, with the direction that is not the most popular on the hub - television. With the advent of the Internet, interest in TV has not fallen — it has changed. The Internet offered new rules for the game: the content that you choose, social networks, freedom of choice and a huge amount of all kinds of information, which varies greatly in composition and method of reproduction / perception. Ordinary television with "news on the first channel" was forced to respond to the new rules of the game, and various manufacturers came up with Smart TV technologies - expanded capabilities for interacting with digital content and global networks. One of the pioneers and leaders of this movement is Samsung, and the latest developments in the field were presented at the IFA.
Among the new products that I want to emphasize, there is a special guest - the ES9500 OLED TV with a diagonal of 55 inches and full support for the latest Samsung Smart TV and Smart Hub technologies.

Excellent picture quality and amazing black depth coupled with a thin frame and excellent color rendition leave no chance for competitors - among dozens of similar models on supermarket shelves, this TV will steadily attract eyes and cause increased attention to itself. But its main “killer feature” is the ability to view two programs at the same time by two viewers at the same time, without any interference with each other. Thanks to the unprecedentedly short response time and special 3D glasses with built-in headphones, the content is perfectly displayed for each user.

In addition to it, I would like to mention the new 75-inch flagship ES9000, supporting the latest developments in the field of Smart TV-content and the game Anrgy Birds, which for the first time can be controlled without touching the device. Have you ever played "birds" at least half of the 75-inch diagonal? :)

One of the most unusual devices at the exhibition presented by Samsung was ... GALAXY Camera, a mobile smart camera. This hybrid of “ultrasound” and a smartphone has a 16MP pixels matrix with BSI technology, 21x optical zoom, image stabilizer, support for 3G, 4G and Wi-Fi networks, as well as a huge and truly chic 4.55-inch HD display. All this splendor works under the control of the Android 4.1 JellyBean operating system.

In addition to the functionality provided by the operating system from Google, the camera is equipped with a built-in image editor and special multi-mode software that corrects the behavior of the sensor depending on external conditions and the selected shooting program. In addition, the camera will get access to the Auto Cloud Backup and Samsung Allshare services, which will make it easy to share and play content and not be afraid for its safety.

Not without attention, and the new operating system from Microsoft. Samsung presented a whole line of devices called ATIV, consisting of tablets, PC-transformers, and smartphones running Windows 8.
Samsung ATIV S is a thin and stylish smartphone based on WP8. Inside - everything is like the “adult” models on Android - a dual-core 1.5 GHz processor, support for all kinds of wireless protocols and interfaces, an excellent screen with HD resolution and a diagonal of 4.8 inches, made using HD SuperAmoled technology.

Samsung ATIV Tab, like you. perhaps guessed - a tablet based on Windows RT. At its disposal is a 10.1 inch display, a battery capacity of 8200 mA / h, the full functionality of the new OS and the built-in office suite Office 2013 RT Preview.

Samsung ATIV Smart PC and Smart PC PRO are transformer laptops capable of working both in the “tablet” and in the “full-fledged” modes. They are united by the form factor, 11.6-inch FullHD LCD display, S Pen, familiar to you from Galaxy S Note II, a proprietary software package that allows you to fully use the transformer in the “tablet” mode, as well as a set of interfaces. Each device contains 2 USB ports, mHDMI, microSD slot, and 2 additional USB 2.0 ports in the keyboard dock.

Stuffing devices differ - Smart PC contains the latest generation Intel Atom, USB 2.0 ports in the “tablet” part and lives up to 14 hours on battery power. The elder brother of Smart PC PRO is built on the Core i5 architecture, in the “tablet” - USB 3.0, and the battery life reaches eight hours. not bad for such a device, is it?

Another novelty is the new AIO (all in one) line of all-in-one monoblocks. The older device in the line has a 27 "screen with a resolution of 2560x1440, the matte display of which is made using PLS technology. Inside - the latest generation Core i7, up to 8 gigabytes of DDR3 memory, discrete video from Radeon (7850M model with two gigabytes of GDDR5 memory), all current wired and wireless interfaces.
The youngest version is 23.6 "Full HD with a matte finish, inside - i5 or i3, up to 8 gigabytes of memory, a slightly weaker 7690 video card with 1 GB GDDR5 and the same set of wired / wireless interfaces. Perhaps a little later TTX of intermediate models will be announced.

The main “killer feature” of these solutions is multitouch input (up to 10 touches) and gesture recognition with the integrated HD camera.
Given the new features of Windows 8 (which will be on board these devices) - it turns out an excellent cocktail of stylish appearance, the broadest possibilities and flexibility in use. The high-tech “filling” can easily cope with photo and video editing, games, high-definition films and any other work, and the compact body and excellent screen quality will make your choice easier. :)

The B2B segment is not forgotten. New screens were presented at the IFA: UD22b and NL22B . The first is a special 22-inch panel with an aspect ratio of 1 to 1, designed to build special "Video Walls". In such a product, Samsung Direct LED, a new lighting technology, is used for the first time, which generates much less heat and consumes significantly less energy than conventional LED systems, and a thin frame of 5.5 millimeters and the ability to combine up to 100 panels in any order and shape (and not necessarily on planes!) allow you to make really amazing video installations. The kit includes special software Samsung MagicInfo, which easily allows you to centrally manage all this well-being.
The second novelty - NL22b - is not just a screen. This is a whole software and hardware complex for product presentation, which has a unique feature - a transparent LED screen. In addition to a transparent LCD panel, the kit includes a protective glass, mini-PCs and speakers - a complete set for an interactive presentation. The effect of augmented reality is obtained without the need to wear special glasses or “scan the world” with the camera of a smartphone / tablet.
