1C: Enterprise 8.3 trial version

Without any noise 1C The enterprise released a new version of its platform. But do not rush to get tomatoes, the news is really worth it.
The key feature of the new version is full-fledged clients for Linux (promise deb, rpm packages for 32 and 64bit systems)

Thus, the only reason that keeps many, many offices from a full transition to linux will soon cease to exist.

It is clear that this does not happen instantly, the beta test period can drag on for years, but a start has been made. So right from today, I began to respect 1C and what it does.

It is also obvious that there will be many problems with cash registers and specific equipment that connects exclusively through the dll libraries - but this will not become a big obstacle on the way from windows.

Also among the key features of the new version include:
    • uploading the configuration and data in xml (even if editing the configuration with external utilities is a big question, the possibility of using full-fledged version control systems - git, svn cannot but rejoice)
    • automatic thin client update
    • Google Chrome and Safari support external components and extensions for working with files and for working with cryptography.
    • Restructuring of the information base in the background (goodbye to eternal hemorrhaging with the expulsion of users from the database)
    • Support for browsers with Windows Internet Explorer 6 and Mozilla Firefox 3.0 and 3.5 has been discontinued. =)

I want to once again draw the attention of habra-people that this is a trial version - do not rush to run to demolish all ethersoft'ovskie solutions and install a native client, for sure it is far from stability even in comparison with wine solutions.

Yes, foreseeing the possible conclusions that this is just a package for launching a client under wine - I hasten to please, this is a native client.

    Fat client:

    Thin client:

Well, a sweet picture about the organization of infrastructure completely without Windows:
