Screencast: Introducing Codeception
Framework for automated testing of web applications in PHP - Codeception lives and develops. But this time, instead of a stingy chunk of news, I would like to present you the first screencast in which the basics of working with Codeception are shown. If you only read about Codeception, then you should definitely look at it in action. Well, if you haven’t read it, but you have a website that you would like to test, take a look too.
It used to be hard to show the simplicity of working with Codeception. Everything broke off about the good old PEAR, which is not entirely friendly to the developers. But now Codeception is packed into one executable phar-archive and its installation is reduced to “download and run”.
Disclaimer : the announcer from me is nikakuschy, to code and tell my actions is also quite difficult. I specifically decided not to read the text on top of the video, but to write live, so as not to give up the production. Therefore, I apologize for stuttering and stuttering.
The official website updated documentation , modules appeared for testing SOAP and REST web services. Come, try, use.
