Poll to the article on Habr "How much does the copyright holder need?" + UPDATE

I decided to continue the topic and, using a survey of interested parties, conduct some analysis of one of the possible (according to the author) methods of solving the problem of piracy in the network.

The survey is a continuation of the article “ How much does the copyright holder need? ”,
And is intended to help determine the possibility and prospects of legalizing the distribution of media content of a certain quality on the network on a mandatory free basis.
In addition, we will try to determine the maximum quality of the content (format, bit rate, etc.), below which the content automatically becomes free, and its free distribution on the network becomes legal and can no longer be the subject of any claims by copyright holders to distributors or consumers.

Any suggestions on the topic as a whole and on the form and composition of the questionnaire in particular are gratefully accepted.

    To the HERE survey:

    Note:
If you think (answering a question) that a book (or media content in principle) cannot be distributed free of charge on the network to any quality, then you don’t need to select minimal formats later, it spoils the statistics - answer “ None / Nevermind. "

    Update 1:

A link to a description of the video parameters and different typical bitrates (at the request of the participant).

    Update 2:

The survey results are HERE .
In a week I’ll clean the answer base for incorrect and obvious stuffing.
At first glance, there are now no more than 10% of these (empty lines that contradict each other, incompatible formats, etc.).

    Preliminary results:
Free (free) media - to be!
    Format (no better than) - (Video: h.264, 1000 kbit / s, 640x480; Audio: MP3, 128 kbit / s).

Free (free) books - to be!
Format (no better than) - TXT (plain text, no pictures).
