Cebit 2012 - First Day New from Asus, Enermax and Zotac

    Greetings to the Hannover guards!

Cebit 2012 has begun! In my first post I will talk about new products from Zotac, Enermax and Asus.

Zotac is widely known on the graphics card market, but recently they have seriously taken up the ultra-small form factor. A complete line of minicomputers from Zotac includes all possible processor options - here are VIA, AMD, and Intel.

The devices are equipped with a remote control and have very compact dimensions.

The latest development is an ultra-compact case with full functionality. Strict NDA prohibits the publication of technical specifications, which suggests that inside Ivy Bridge. Jar RedBull gives an understanding of the dimensions of new items.

And this photo convinces that the number of devices is more than one.

Enermax introduced a super-concept power supply at 2500 watts! Colossal power has tremendous size. According to company representatives, such units are in demand for powering screens in stadiums; huge video walls simultaneously require dozens of such monsters.

In addition, Enermax demonstrates a DreamBass device - a bass booster with a USB interface, nothing original, but there is some sense in such a device for laptops or entry-level gaming computers. For those who have a discrete audio card - DreamBass is not an assistant.

The new LEPA brand is not yet widespread in Russia, but its prospects are not bad. In fact, this is Enermax, only a little cheaper, and the look of such a fan will captivate customers.

Asus did not exhibit a stand, but kindly invited to a press conference where he demonstrated a new line of motherboards based on Intel chipsets of the seventh series. Unfortunately, I can’t pamper you with performance information, the non-disclosure agreement is in effect ... At the press conference there was also an overclocking show conducted by Andre Yang - the legend of the overclock and part-time engineer of the Republic Of Gamers division.

Well, I’ll immediately share the feelings of working with an ultrabook - weight really means a lot. I visited previous exhibitions with Acer Ferrari - although it’s 12 ", it’s significantly heavier. I like absolutely everything - quick start, convenient keyboard, compact charging. Although I found one minus - the Airbus A321 does not fit on a pull-out table.

As they say, stay tuned. Tomorrow a new portion of interesting pieces of iron!
