Nokia 808 PureView - the new camera phone with a 41-megapixel camera

    At the Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona, ​​Nokia introduced the Nokia 808 PureView camera phone . The Nokia 808 PureView differs from any other camera phone by the presence of a camera with a sensor resolution of 41 megapixels.

    At the same time, pictures will be taken in standard resolution from 2 to 8 megapixels, and during the shooting process, resampling technology with a high frequency will be used to combine up to seven pixels into one.     Nokia 808 PureView can shoot video in 1080p format at 30 frames per second, while providing triple zoom without loss of image quality. When shooting in 720p and 640x360 resolution, six- and twelve-fold zoom are possible without loss of image quality, respectively.

    The phone itself combines a processor with a frequency of 1.3 GHz, 16 GB of internal memory and a 4-inch AMOLED display, protected by Gorilla Glass. The dimensions of the device are 123.9 × 60.2 × 13.9 mm with an expansion of up to 17.95 mm in the camera area, the weight including the battery is 169 grams. The smartphone is running Nokia Belle OS with the update Feature Pack 1. The operating time in the mode of connecting to the Internet through a 3G connection reaches 6.5 hours, in standby time - 540 hours.
