First of all, I opened Yandex Market and through an advanced search I began to look at what the market offers us. The list of offers was only a couple of sheets. As I studied the specifics, I highlighted the basic requirements. The most important, perhaps, was the question of working without additional programs from any OS. Thus, almost all offers instantly disappeared from view, since most flash drives, when connected to a PC, launched an embedded program with a password and further decryption of the container. And as you would expect, this approach worked only under windows. As a result, devices with a physical keyboard began to spin in the field of vision - I entered the code, inserted it into usb and you work. Yandex only offered Corsair Flash Padlock 2. But for many security parameters, it did not suit me. Searching on the Internet decently surprised the fact that information about such devices is practically not available in Russian. Ebay, Amazon - the search did not return the desired results. And then I come across Aegis Secure Key. In appearance and description - one to one datAshur, only from another company. Ebay - result 0, Amazon - the result is positive. 16Gb - $ 125. A month of waiting, notice, turn, joy.
Holding the new toy for the first time in your hands, the first thing you pay attention to is the pleasant weight and light coolness of the metal case. Gently remove the case and ... the intercom, covered throughout the body with material similar to a soft touch.

On the other hand, there is useful information that tells us that the 16gb flash drive uses AES 256 bit encryption, and runs on a lithium-polymer battery, which is recharged from usb. Despite the fact that the physical dimensions of the flash drive are 80x20x10 mm (together with the case), the buttons turned out to be very successful, of a sufficient size, 5x5 mm. Since my fingers are not large, pressing the buttons does not cause difficulties. The buttons have a fairly tight, tactile move. Pressing feels good with a light click. The material of the buttons is made of good, hard rubber, on which there are no traces (dents) from solid objects, such as nails.
Well, it's time to see how it works! We stick in usb ..., the red LED blinks several times, then the blue LED flashes constantly and ... oh, the usb device is not recognized.
We open the instruction, find out the factory password, press the key, enter 11223344 and again the key. The green LED blinked amicably and now we have 30 seconds to connect the drive to the port. Installation of new equipment, 10 seconds and a window with a task selection. We open properties.
We are trying to throw a movie weighing 700mb. The speed starts at 42mb / s and ends at 21mb / s. Reading speed does not exceed 12mb / s. Apparently decryption affects on the fly. Neither fat32 nor ntfs make a significant difference.
Breaking:
Check protection against brute force. We make 10 incorrect attempts and the red LED lights up without blinking, he doesn’t give us more attempts to enter codes. We program a new password, connect to usb and voila, we are asked to format the disk.
Of course, I will not open the flash drive, so we will believe the manufacturer. According to the manufacturer, everything inside is covered with a hard epoxy resin, which destroys the chip when trying to remove it.
Thermorectal cryptanalysis? As far as I understand, there is no way to configure the data deletion code ...

A fairly high-quality and reliable product, relatively inexpensive, compact and stylish. Excellent data protection when a device is lost or stolen. I wanted to try to partition and see what happens, but hard drive programs don’t see it. I will be glad to answer questions.
