One step closer to Star Trek, OLED panels at CES
Hello, Habr, hello friends!

Let's start with the photos:
UTP1. Thin, finer, finest. To make the comparison with the handle more clear:

УТП2. Bright:

UTP2. Attractive. These girls did not want to leave the TV:

UTP3. Color rendering, which easily beats the best LED / AMOLED displays:

UTP3.1. Color rendering 2:

* of course, low-resolution static photographs do not convey the full charm of the picture, but what can you do.
If we talk about the technical part.
OLED vs. LED / SUPERLED / SUPERLED +
Our OLED panel works in both 2D and 3D (the 3D effect is achieved through the FPR technology that we wrote about earlier ).
Our software also implements our software development. TRIPLE XD Engine - software solution (chipset) - an algorithm that optimizes panel color reproduction, control contrast and default settings for content types.
TV is not a concept and we expect to sell about 250,000 OLED panels in 2012.
We are one step closer to Star Trek ;-)
- Contrast ratio 1,000, 000: 1
- Crazy response speed (> 1000 times faster than the response speed of LCD / LED panels)
- 55 inches in a 4 mm case and weighs only 7.5 kg

OLED vs. LED / SUPERLED / SUPERLED +
- OLED has smaller dimensions and weight (which we easily confirm
- at OLED there is no need for additional. backlight, which allows you to get a picture incomparable in contrast, the contrast ratio of OLED panels is up to 50 times higher than that of LED panels
- OLED does not have such a parameter as the viewing angle - the image is visible without loss of quality from any angle
- OLED has an instant response (up to 150 times higher than that of LED) - essentially a complete lack of inertia of the screen, which allows you to get a very realistic picture in the most dynamic films
- OLED has better color reproduction (due to high contrast and instant response)
- the ability to create flexible screens
- OLED has a wider operating temperature range (−40 to +70 ° C)
