What is iNum, and how can we help the development of this project
What is iNum

iNum uses the telephone code +883 allocated by Voxbone's ITU (International Telecommunication Union) for the needs of IP telephony, in addition to voice calls to these numbers, sms messages are also available.
It is assumed that calls to these numbers from PSTN will be equal in cost to local calls. But alas, far from all OpCoSs and ordinary telephone providers route calls in this direction (and not all VoIP providers, too).
Providing a number in the +883 array is absolutely free. In Russia, only 2 providers are doing this: YouMagic andMobile One .
Connection Methods
There are 2 ways to connect to iNum.
First, it is the simplest - just forward calls to SIP numbers _number_@inum.net (for example, 883510000000091@inum.net), and send SMS messages via XMPP to the same address (_number_@inum.net, for example 883510000000094 @ inum. net) The
second is to submit an application through the feedback form and get direct access to iNum. In this case, SMS messages are sent as SIP messages.
Routing check
There are 2 numbers for routing verification (8 zeros everywhere):
Echo test: 883510000000091
DTMF test: 883510000000092
CallerID test: 883510000000093
SMS test: 883510000000094 - send your email, in case of successful delivery by email you will receive a notification.
How can the Habrasociety help iNum develop?
There are several options:
- Check the availability of calls and sms on iNum from your provider (including roaming)
- Contact your provider for iNum support.
- Report iNum on Twitter, FaceBook, G +, etc.
- Communicate on the iNum forum, propose ideas for the development of iNum
I propose to check the possibility of calls \ sending SMS messages (not only mobile and landline providers, but also VOIP), leave my wishes to the operator and report the results in the comments - I will add to the table below. You can also leave the results on the project forum.
