2.7 million emails between the most influential people in the world will soon be posted online

Hacktivists are preparing to publish in the public domain 200 GB of letters obtained as a result of hacking the company Stratfor . The largest US corporations and government agencies use the services of the private intelligence and analytical agency Strategic Forecasting . The company itself is called the "shadow CIA" - its experts make unbiased economic and geopolitical forecasts, for example, about the collapse of Russia.

The reddit forum already compiles a list of keywords that will need to be searched in this mail archive.

It should be noted that Anonymous deny their involvement in Stratfor hacking.

Stratfor customer listwas previously classified, now in the public domain, and this is just the beginning.

The media trumpeted that the hackers received credit card details from Stratfor customers. In a specially published statement, hacktivists emphasize that their goal was not credit cards at all, but mail correspondence, so that the media should not mislead the public and represent them as intruders.

What information will be published soon? In addition to the archive with mail, these are the names of thousands of informants who have provided Stratfor with information for more than ten years. Many of them work for US intelligence and NATO, defense industry enterprises, as well as government agencies. As the Wikileaks example has shown, all of these organizations, along with some others, are conducting a targeted campaign to discredit Wikileaks, the hacktivist movement and freedom of information in general.

Publicly available correspondence between the members of this high-ranking “group” will contribute to the fight against corruption, crime and deception among representatives of the highest echelons of power. In addition, the names of informants will become an important link for further investigations.

Most likely, mail correspondence files will be published on echelon2.org .
