3D technology of the future: Sony’s Personal 3D Viewer HMZ-T1

Sony is finishing the development of a unique headset - Personal 3D Viewer HMZ-T1 - a futuristic visor that allows you to watch 3D movies and play 3D games at a new level. The model, worn over the head in the manner of a visor from Star Trek, is equipped with two 0.7-inch OLED panels with a resolution of 1280 × 720 and headphones that simulate 5.1-channel sound.

Personal 3D Viewer displays are characterized by a short response time (0.01 sec), which allows you to comfortably watch movies. The user who put on the system has the feeling that he is sitting in front of a screen with a diagonal of 750 inches at a distance of 20 m. The model will first appear on sale in Japan in November 2011 at a price of about 60 thousand yen (25 thousand rubles). I want to believe that this mega-device will soon reach Russia.
