Private SpaceX ship will fly to the ISS in November
NASA management has given SpaceX permission to launch the Falcon 9 rocket (launch on November 30, 2011) and dock Dragon's cargo module with the International Space Station a week later.
This will be the third launch of the Falcon 9 rocket. The docking of the cargo module from a private commercial company with the ISS is an important stage in the development of cargo transportation in space. In the future, non-state companies can take the bulk of such cargo operations under a contract with NASA, and SpaceX has already entered into such a contract with NASA for at least 12 flights. These same companies can be engaged in tourism and hotel business in orbit of the Earth.
