Kiev ALT.NET

Kiev ALT.NET is an informal community of professional developers on the .NET platform in the glorious city of Kiev. A feature of the meetings is the absence of any restrictions both in the choice of topics for discussion, and in the choice of establishments and beers for afterparty. The only working criterion by which meetings are planned is the presence of interest on the part of most participants.

Meetings

The next meeting will take place this Friday , May 20th. We swung at the sacred: comparing Continuous Integration servers: CC.NET, TeamCity, Jenkins (aka Hudson) and ... TFS. Bets are accepted;). After deciding what is best for Continuous Integration, there will be two more bonuses: the first is a demonstration of Continuous Deployment using ChuckNorris Tools ( UppercuT and RoundhousE ), and the second is a traditional after party, where you can learn a lot from speakers and colleagues about beer.

Future plans

There are plenty of topics for discussion. The most likely candidates for the following meetings:

1. NoSQL MongoDb / RavenDb, we have not decided which sauce yet, but we have gained enough experience, so it will be interesting
2. Continuous Deployment: toolling, zero downtime deployment may develop.
3. Distributed version control systems
4. We continue the theme of F #
5. And I really want AsyncCTP / TPL.
