Build Ubuntu 11.04 from NNLUG

    imageFor Linux InstallFest, we prepared the assembly of the Ubuntu 11.04 distribution package from the Nizhny Novgorod Linux User Group. Her presentation will be held on May 1st.

    In our opinion, packages have been added to the assembly, which are necessary for full-fledged work immediately when loading in Live-mode or after installation on the hard drive. Namely:

    • Packages of Russification of the system and applications
    • A complete set of audio and video codecs
    • VLC Video Player
    • 7zip archiver
    • The time zone is set according to Moscow time
    • Added document templates (there are now different types of documents in the "Create Document" menu)
    • Added scripts for batch processing of photos in Gnome (you can rotate or resize images in bulk by right-clicking in Nautilus)
    • Added drivers for HP printers
    • Added driver packages for NVidia graphics cards to disk
