New release of the Jabber server OpenFire 3.7.0

After two years of development, and six months after the beta version of the program was released, the Ignite Realtime community finally presented the long-awaited release of the OpenFire 3.7.0 Jabber server to the public . The updated version, as usual, contains a lot of new "features", fixed bugs and improvements.

I’ll add from myself that I finally waited for the fix of the bug with shared roster that existed since 2006, was repeatedly discussed in many forums, but had no solution.
Here are the most significant of them:
- Openfire is licensed under Apache 2.0 .
- Improved OpenFire work with idle connections.
- OpenFire caching has become less memory-hungry, the cache size is calculated more correctly.
- Fixed a bug where it was impossible to log in as an administrator to a freshly installed OpenFire console until the server was restarted.
- Fixed a bug with displaying statuses for users of the shared roster if the server is configured to work with LDAP.
- Fixed memory leak in PEP.
- Changed logging interface.
- A number of issues with self-signed SSL certificates have been fixed.
- Some improvements and fixes on the Multi-User Chat (MUC) page of the admin console.
- Some improvements have affected existing plugins. In addition, a new Jingle Nodes plugin has appeared .
- There are some corrections in French, Russian and Lithuanian translations of the program interface and some plugins.
