Acer Aspire One Happy or Netbook with Android
Netbook with android. But this is not the point.
When, not so long ago, the concept of “netbook” was spun off from laptops for some reason, as if showing similarities with a laptop on the one hand and focus on networking - on the other, manufacturers rushed to rivet them one by one. It is difficult to find something outstanding in this stream. Sometimes - there are such instances that are made not only "so that it".
Acer Aspire One Happy stands out for two things.
First: by design.
Second: two OS (Windows 7 Starter and Android OS).

As in my opinion - absolutely nothing outstanding. Even ashamed of 1GB of RAM.
But the baby catches. It catches the look.

My wife said the first thing about the netbook - "he is so green!" And the truth: a bright, eye-catching design.
The glossy cover and screen, however, the main unit is matte, the bottom is matte, is covered with a monolithic cover.
I will not go into details much simply because this netbook should be chosen not by what is inside, but what is outside.
However, the question arises: why does a beautiful laptop have a “geek” android inside?
This is another netbook sales channel.
Speaking of Android OS. I could not find out the version reliably, but obviously from the 2.x family - live wallpapers are supported.
Working with Android itself did not give me pleasure.
Judge for yourself: you are holding a new netbook in your hands, turn on “that same Android”, but you won’t do anything good in it until ... boot into Windows and set up your Google account there.
Further, the browser is a Linux firefox. With all the consequences. No mobile interface, unfortunately. It is cumbersome (yes, firefox lovers forgive me).
There is no Android market. There is gmail (which opens a browser with the web version of gmail), you can put games and programs manually by downloading them from the Internet. But you need to know where to download, you need to be almost a pirate (after all, it is not recommended to install applications from APK files), and you can also catch a virus (yes, they already exist under android).
What good is Android netbook? That it loads in seconds.
I remember that Asus has ExpressGate instead of android, Acer now has Android.
For me - both solutions - urgently check the mail and listen to the song. Work in them does not work.
But externally, the device attracts. When closed, the netbook is very thin (23mm in the thickest part, not counting the battery, which sticks out 5mm). The edges are clear.
Design - solid 5.
Build - classically good 4 (the cover creaks in my sample)
Usability of iron is five. everything at hand, even the malicious dollar sign and the euro from the arrows removed. The charger is small, single-module (adapter-power supply to the outlet and one wire from it).
Usability in terms of programs is 4- (because Win7 is good, but Android is useless).
And yet - the impressions of the netbook are extremely good. I think he will be a good assistant every day to anyone - a fashionista, a student, a system administrator, or a business man who is bored with black plastic around.
