EDM 2010.2 One KDE4 DVD Released - Alternate Build by Edumandriva Team

We are pleased to announce the release of DVD EDM 2010.2 One based on KDE 4.5.4 (non-training). This assembly is the first respin in the framework of the Edumandriva project, as an improved analogue of the original versions, as well as a testing ground before the release of Edumandriva 2010.2 One KDE4 DVD for educational institutions.

Differences between the assembly and the original KDE4 One:

1. KDE 4.5.4 from littleboy
2. Patches and fixes from the Edumandriva project (archives, font smoothing)
2. A single Oxygene theme for kde / qt / gtk
3. VPN / L2TP configuration utility - vpnpptp
4 By default, the KickOff menu and the Win7-style taskbar plugin are enabled (Smouth Task)
5. PLF and Edumandriva repositories are connected
6. Dragonplayer is replaced by smplayer
7. Added Chromium, Skype
8. OpenOffice 3.2.1 Pro (without Base)
9. Amarok replaced by Clementine
10. Added K3B
11. Added Russian documentation for DrakX
12. Fixed keyboard layout errors
13. Added a mechanism for working with package sources via Zeroconf / Avahi (urpmi. addmedia_auto)
14. Commands for installing and uninstalling programs (urpmi and urpme) are connected via userhelper and do not require root switching via su
