Strange gadgets from a Japanese designer

The other day, Japanese designer Mio I-Zawa presented an interesting, unusual and, frankly, creepy data cable for the iPhone. This cable looks weirder than everything that we saw before it: during charging, the cable makes sounds, twitches and generally behaves like a living organism. Yes, and it looks more like a living organism, which choked on the same iPhone - in any case, I got just that impression. This is facilitated by the appearance of this cable, because the material from which it is made is really close to the real appearance of living matter. I wonder what the temperature of this thing is - if it were made warm, the analogy with a living being would be complete.

According to the designer, this strange contraption was created by him in order to make Apple's standard data cable unusual, of which there are quite a lot. In general, this mechanism is a docking station, and not just a data cable. Probably, you expect to see just such a thing after playing enough of all these games with biomutants, an alien infection and other evil spirits. One can only imagine what a room for a lover of such games can look like if you fill it with similar products.

By the way, the same Mio I-Zawa recently introduced another interesting, no less creepy device - a mechanical tumor. This contraption is made to "grow" with the growing load on the computer. As you can see, the material from which it is made is similar to the material of this docking station shown above, but the “tumor” behaves differently. This is a compressor sheathed with the above material, with various other lotions. The device monitors the intensity of the computer, and the more it is loaded, the more it becomes a "tumor", which, as it were, is powered by the energy produced by your PC (thermal radiation).

Clear business, all these devices do not bear any practical benefit. But geeks are geeks to work with things that do not like / are recognized by other people. Few people will like a biomorphic gadget that pretends to be a living organism - but admirers of this kind of art will definitely like all this. In principle, there are already quite a few such devices, but there are quite a few such original ones. Let's hope that the next product of the designer would be a little less scary - would he make some kind of mechanical flower or something ...
