HTC Desire HD and Desire Z officially presented

    Today at the launch event in London, the company bar Redhook the HTC unveiled two new of Android-smartphone HTC Desire HD and the HTC Desire the Z .



    HTC Desire HD is the company's new multimedia flagship: 4.3 "WVGA SLCD display, 8 MPx camera, as well as support for Dolby Mobile + SRS surround sound systems make Desire HD a real multimedia monster. A distinctive feature of the phone is the presence of an unibody-aluminum case.




    HTC Desire HD is based on the second generation SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255 , which was created using a 45nm process technology, which will significantly reduce the power consumption of the smartphone. MSM8255 also boasts an updated Andreno 205 GPU and support for HSPA + networks .



    At the disposal of Desire HD 1.5GB of internal memory ( ROM ), 768MB RAM , support for microSD expansion cards , HDMI output, as well as many other goodies.



    HTC Desire Z is HTC's first massive Android phone with a full QWERTY keyboard. Desire Z is based on the new Qualcomm MSM7230 platform , which replaced the outdated MSM7201. The heart of the MSM7230 is the Qualcomm Scorpion ARMv7 processor core (fear Cortex!) At 800 MHz.



    The device has a 3.7 "SLCD display with WVGA resolution (480x800), 1.5GB ROM , 512MB RAM and an updated Adreno 205 graphics core . The MSM7230 has a 45nm process, which will positively affect the smartphone’s power consumption. Desize Z will also get an improved 5MPx camera module with LED flash. The operator version of the Desire Z phone was introduced earlier for the T-Mobile operator. Well, a worthy change for the old G1!



    Both of the company's new products are running Android 2.2 Froyo, support 720p video recording , the htcsense.com service , and the new HTC Fast Boot technology . HTC Fast Boot is designed to enable you to use certain functions of the smartphone before it is fully turned on.

    The appearance of devices in the Russian Federation is expected in the second half of October.
