Url extension - senseless and merciless occupation

I don’t know who is spending this weekend, but I had a strong desire to do something truly useless for humanity. Shortly sorting through the options, I settled on one.

I am sure that if there are services that shorten links, then there should be those that lengthen. Those. it is very important that the balance of url changing services in nature is maintained. The latter were easily found: these are HugeUrl , and TitanUrl , and FreakingHugeUrl , and others ... But what can be more useless than trying to make an unnecessary thing better. I did not find the perfect extender, one uses flash, the other makes URLs not working in IE, the third makes URLs too short.
So please love and favormy vision of making urls is pointlessly long .

The main purpose of the service is to lengthen the links. It copes with 5-, because due to the restriction of the Google App Engine the maximum URL length was limited to 2073 characters (who would have thought?), And not as originally conceived 2083 (the maximum URL length for IE , which has to be considered: ()

Of course, how could you forget about Twitter users, they are allocated only 140 characters. Justice should have triumphed and she did it - now there is a unique opportunity to create a long, meaningless URL exactly 140 characters long, not a single number more, not a single letter smaller.

Probably, not quite original, but not contradicting the concept, an idea arose - to use completely specific and meaningful words instead of insignificant symbols. Say, so that instead of a URL like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h-8PBx7isoM there would be a more understandable URL http://huge-url.appspot.com/www.youtube.com/embrace-life -always-wear-your-seat-belt . This extension option was also implemented and is available even without registration! (I understand your surprise). The long name is obtained by a simple analysis of the page, the link to which we lengthen. I hope no one will need it, otherwise this feature will have to be removed, as it contradicts the desire that originally arose.

    API appeared:

    http://huge-url.appspot.com/huge?url=SOURCE_URL
    http://huge-url.appspot.com/twitter?url=SOURCE_URL
    http://huge-url.appspot.com/descriptive?url=SOURCE_URL

PS This is not my first topic, so you can minus :)
